A União Europeia só vai deixar de esmagar os povos quando a União Europeia for democratizada, e com isto quero dizer o eleitorado ter a capacidade de remover do poder quem acha que está a comportar-se de forma incompetente ou mesmo nefasta, isto não acontece na União Europeia. Na União Europeia há um grupo de interesses que está desde sempre a ser representado, que não pode ser questionado e removido.
As “elites” europeias conceberam o projecto europeu como um projecto ao qual não há alternativa, um projecto que não pode ser posto em causa pela maioria da população. O continente europeu tinha que ser neoliberalizado custe o que custar, a destruição do paradigma social-democrata era essencial, a classe trabalhadora estava a ter acesso a bem-estar em demasia e as “elites” se sentiram ameaçadas por isto. Bem podem tentar os eurocratas se associar à Democracia que não vale a pena a Comissão Europeia, e outros organismos do projecto europeu, são inerentemente anti-democráticos.
Partindo do princípio que a democratização da União Europeia, e a construção de um Estado federal, só podem ser feitas com o fim dos actuais Estados soberanos, gostava que me explicassem como é que isto vai ser alcançado sem a vontade dos povos europeus?
O que se tem passado na Europa é a constante promoção de disfuncionalidade a nível nacional, os Estados europeus estão a responder muito mal às necessidades dos respectivos povos devido aos constrangimentos vindos de Bruxelas (dominada por uma ideologia regressiva, anti-trabalhador e anti-povo). Só quem tem andado muito distraído pode ficar admirado com as medidas draconianas promovidas por Bruxelas e pelos referendos que se fizeram mas que ficaram sem efeito porque os resultados não serviam os interesses “europeus”.

The European Union will only stop crushing the peoples when the European Union is democratized, and by that I mean the electorate being able to remove from power anyone the electorate feels is behaving incompetently or even nefariously, this does not happen in the European Union. In the European Union there is a group of interests that has always been represented which cannot be questioned and removed.
The european “elites” conceived the European project as a project to which there is no alternative, a project that cannot be questioned by the majority of the population. The european continent had to be neoliberalized at all costs, the destruction of the social democrat paradigm was essential, the working class was having access to too much welfare and the “elites” felt threatened by this. It's useless for eurocrats trying to associate themselves with Democracy the European Commission, and other bodies of the European project, are inherently anti-democratic.
Assuming that the democratization of the European Union, and the construction of a federal State, can only be done with the end of the current sovereign States, I would like to know how this will be done without the will of the european peoples?
What has been happening in Europe is the constant promotion of dysfunctionality at the national level, the european States are responding very poorly to the needs of their peoples due to constraints coming from Brussels (dominated by a regressive, anti-worker and anti-people ideology). Only those who have been very distracted can be surprised by the draconian measures promoted by Brussels and by the referendums that were held but that were ineffective because the results did not serve the “european” interests.
